Privacy Policy

Your furry friend's health and activity data stays only on your device. No cloud, no account, no tracking.

100% On-Device

All data is stored locally on your phone.

No Server

No personal data is ever sent to our servers.

Vet First

Always consult your vet for medical decisions.

Vet First, App Second

pawfie does not provide medical advice. For any concern, symptom, or decision about your pet's health, always consult a licensed veterinarian.

Summary

pawfie is a mobile app that helps you track your cat or dog's daily routines — meals, water intake, bathroom breaks, vaccination dates, weight, and activity. You do not need to create an account. All information is stored on your device's local storage.

Vet Reminder

Nothing in this app replaces a veterinarian's examination, diagnosis, or treatment. If you suspect any issue, contact your vet right away.

What Data Do We Collect?

Short answer: None. pawfie only stores the following on your device and never sends it elsewhere:

  • Your pet's name, species, breed, birth date, and photo
  • Meal, water, bathroom, medication, and vaccination records
  • Weight, height, and activity measurements
  • Reminders and calendar notes

This data is never sent to our servers, third parties, or cloud services. We do not read your ad ID, location, or contact information.

Where Is Data Stored?

All records are kept in your device's local database (Core Data on iOS / SQLite on Android). Deleting the app permanently removes all data. You may optionally back up data to your chosen cloud storage (iCloud Drive / Google Drive) via the in-app export — it's fully under your control and we cannot access it.

Vet Reminder

Backed-up health records do not replace a vet; it's best to share and review them together with your veterinarian.

Medical Disclaimer

pawfie is strictly a tracking and reminder tool. All graphs, tips, and informational text are for general guidance only and do not replace professional veterinary opinion.

Vet Reminder

If your pet shows symptoms like loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or behavior changes — contact a veterinarian immediately. For emergencies, call the nearest 24/7 vet clinic.

Always make decisions about vaccinations, parasite prevention, spaying/neutering, diet, and medications together with your vet. Reminders in the app are for convenience only; they are not prescriptions.

Third-Party Services

pawfie contains no ad networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking tools. Crash reporting uses only your operating system's (Apple / Google) anonymous error reports, sent with your permission. These reports do not contain pet data.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, there is no additional risk for this age group.

Policy Changes

This policy may be updated. Significant changes will be notified within the app. The version on this page is always the current one.

Vet Reminder

Even if the policy changes, one thing stays the same: always consult your vet for any health matter.

Your pet's health is worth everything

pawfie reminds, records, and keeps routine in check. But it does not diagnose or treat. Always, in every situation — vet first.
